After winning her first Golden Globe and getting nominated for an Academy Award for her work on ‘A Star is Born’ alongside Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga has found a new professional target – Dominating the beauty market.
The phenomenal superstar is set to follow in the footsteps of such beauty icons as Rihanna, Trixie Mattel and Kylie Jenner. Gaga is coming out with her new brand of beauty products fittingly called ‘Haus Labs’.
The new line is said to feature a variety of eyes, cheeks and lips shades, with additional kits containing all three products together for the price of $49. The products will be an Amazon exclusive, and will no doubt become a hit among ‘Haus of Gaga’ fans. You could pre-order the items starting July 15, and they will be available to all in September.
When asked about the new venture, Gaga told reporters: “Color is completely transformative — it’s powerful, it’s beautiful, and it’s how I found my voice with makeup. I discovered myself, but also other people discovered me, for me, through the way that I was expressing myself.”
The news of this new venture came by surprise to leading figures in the beauty industry who still remember the singer’s last experiment to fail, the ‘Lady Gaga Fame’ perfume, which underperformed in the market, compared to other celebrity perfumes such as Britney’s ‘Fantasy’ and Jennifer Lopez’s ‘Glow’.
